I unfortunately reversed polarity when I swapped out my battery on my 2013 CX5. Obviously dumb.
Blew the positive terminal fuse 250a one as well as infotainment fuses.
All of those have been replaced now, all lights and electronics work but I get no crank. I purchased an OBD2 Scanner and I got the code u0101.
The code itself says lost communication with TCM. I watched a few videos and it could be anything from the terminals are not on correctly on the battery, to the individual wire issues for the TCM or ECU.
I swapped out the battery terminals but nothing changed. Any suggestions on what to try now?
Replacing the TCM is past my expertise as I only learn from watching videos and I dont have many tools besides for regular car maintenance.
