hydroxycut?

i'm thinking more bar form just cause it's easier, i've had meso-tech and nitro-tech bars before and they taste good, and some designer protein ones that were good too, i'll probably just go with whatever is cheapest :)

Bar form is okay, just make sure they whey bars and what not. I find the best tasting bars to be detour bars with 30 grams of protien in them. They taste like candy and in all honesty meal replacements are just a lil higher priced when you could just take a daily vitamin and protien bar/shake and be doing the samething.

Im sure if you told mom you wanted to start eating healthy im sure she would support it and you can at least buy yourself snack type founds that are healthy and stay away from fast food. Fast food meals on avg. contain 2000 calories per meal.

oh yea, i've had detour bars before too, they are pretty good, hopefully they're on sale :)

if i told my mom i wanted to eat healthy she'd tell me i already eat healthy and am skinny enough. plus she'd say "ok, you know where the grocery store is and you can cook it yourself", and i'm lazy :) my family isn't exactly into fitness.
the only real fast food i eat (since starting back at the gym anyways) is the aforementioned normal tacos from taco bell, and chinese every once in a while

I might give it a shot because running in the winter gets me sick and I'm not siging up to a gym.

has anyone tried it before and what level of success have you gotten? i just want to lower my body fat percentage without having to stop eating all things that taste good. i was thinking of giving it a shot. i tried xenadrine before back when it had ephedra in it but i couldn't do that for more than a week cause i couldn't fall asleep and just felt all weird the whole time, but i figured now that it's ephedra free i'll think about giving it a shot.

With that attitude about getting in shape, you won't. Diet and Exercise. A suppliment is just that, a SUPPLIMENT to your routine.

they are not really steroids so to speak. instead of tagging your hormones, they boost your metabolism and muscle building capabilities, kind of a turboed bodybuilder stack. personally, i just use the thermos to keep my sat fats down to stay lean and as for the building part....www.crossfit.com. and i also use the body weight theory. bench:full body weight, curl and tris:1/3 body weight...ect. raising the weight as i gain weight.

overhead squats, turkish getups, tons of exercises

I dare anyone who thinks they are "in shape" to do some overhead squats.

i agree with you a supplement is just a supplement to your routine. i was simply wondering if this supplement would aid in my routine to help me lose body fat. i think you put too much emphasis on the wrong part of that. i said i didn't want to stop eating all things that taste good. that doesn't mean i want to eat whatever i want or that i will eat unhealthily, it simply means that i am not going to give up everything with taste and will have the occassional treat. i'm not going to switch my diet to plain chicken and vegetables is more what that meant, that takes all of the fun out of life

it seems like if you ask about a product like this everyone just assumes that you know nothing about weight lifting and are looking for the easy way out. you don't know unless you ask, and if there is a supplement out there that will help and is not harmful to your health that other people have found to work, why not give it a try?

Jred if i came off that way it was more to just make sure i the good info stayed clear as there was a lot of babbling going on in the thread.

i don't think you did at all, i just think most people see a thread about lifting or something to do with fitness and assume they're an expert and whoever asked a question knows nothing, and their method is always the best rather than having an open mind about trying new things or what other people have found that works for them. just something i've noticed every time any topic like this gets brought up. i know there is more than 1 way to achieve the goal of fitness that a lot of people have, and i like my way the best too (or else i wouldn't be doing it), but if other people have found things that work i have an open mind toward changing my ways to give theirs a try. not everyone thinks like this though

you can't depend on any drug/supplement to lose weight and not have your diet in check.

FYI - ephedra is banned but can still be bought legally. that banning was nothing but a political show
I don't need Ephedra I gots Meth...No really Methylphenidate.
Or Adderall, it zaps the urge to eat and makes me a passified zombie. (yawn)

Adderall does not wire me up at all in fact it does so much of the opposite that I hardly take. I get so slowed down it feels like I can't move.
