Hwy 9 Fun Run!

That guy's pretty f-ing fast.(yes) Even on stock tires, that RSX is pretty quick, and it sounds like a beast!

I'll be there. :)

Andrew, there's really not too much to tell. Some guy with a 240SX talked a little smack about the Miata...right up until we hit some twisties. We pulled over to wait for the guy, but he never showed up. His bro eventually caught up, and told us the guy had over-corrected into a cliff. He's OK and I guess his car is too; he had it towed home.

Those little Mazdas have a bad rep as a chick car, but with a tiny bit of tunung(a good alignment, basically), they're soooo easy to drive fast! (drive) It's fun to surprise people like that guy.

No doubt Miata's are nothing to mess with. Were you driving the Miata or the P5 last night Natey? I plan on going a different route myself when I get a full time job. Here is what I plan on doing:

~2.0L VW type 1
Turbo N/A not sure yet
Fully built bottom end
Porsche 550 Spyder(1300 lb with engine, full tank, and driver)
Custom wheels( I think some work wheels might be good for this since they are custom and in general there aren't very many good wheels for VW's(ie tires=165-185/60=sucks)
these can be picked up for around 17,000 minus engine which I will build myself

hehe, You may be able to get a used Beck spider for $17,000 but an authentic 550 like James Dean died in runs in the 100,000's of dollars.

BTW: That's my favorite car of all time. (thumb) Get one of those beasts and you'll smoke everybody on 236!

haha, I almost forgot.

WTF was up with the rabbit in the road last night? Out in the middle of nowhere at 1:30 in the morning, & there's a little white bunny on the side of the road. (uhm)

It's trying to get you out of the Matrix.... Follow the white rabbit.

Either that or he was trying something he read about it in this book:

(woowoo) Piccys of the fitment?
It's a crappy picture I took with my phone, but you get the idea, back to working on the STB. I love having a wireless network, no need to print your how-to, just looking at the site from my garage on my laptop. I am such a dork.

Wow, those look like they fit perfectly!

BTW< I pretty much made every mistake possible when installing my STB. If you run into a glitch, let me know. Chances are, I ran into the same one and maybe I can help. :)
