Hwy 9 Fun Run!

Oh yeah I got my racing beat muffler today from lamp3. It's a dope piece. I wasn't satisfied with it so I took it to the shop and cut 5" off the tip. I just realized how bad I sock at welding with a mig welder too. It would have been better if I had just Oxy-acetylene welded it. That I can do. After I cut it down I went to town on the wire wheel and cleaned all the rust off the places that rust and painted with with high temp ceramic paint.

I was gonna go home and put it on, and I was about half way through juacking it up when my jack collapsed. Yes it collapsed! I think that night on Calaveras Blvd didn't treat it very well when we were getting the car out of the ditch with it. Looks like I'll have to wait till the weekend until I can get it on.

Oh yeah Nate. 5kg springs are on the way as are a set of hawk pads for all four corners

 I'm glad it didn't buckle while you were under the car!
Yeah, be sure to use jack stands. My cheapo $20 Kragen jack failed me when I got the car stuck in dirt. (I was about 2 inches away from busting a Dr.Sound)

Found it later in daytime where I dug in.. heh

Guys, I don't think I can make it tonight. At least not at 8. I may be able to get up there later. I have Nate, Ya and Jimmy's numbers. If Ii can make it, I'll give one or all 3 a call.

Were you guys gonna go on a run tonight as well?

s***! s***! s***

I hope I can make it tonight. My wifey still isn't home, and I have my baby girl with me. I really don't want to drive over Hwy17 with her. I'll post as soon as Julie is here, but at this point, I'm out. :'(

The meet turned out pretty good. I think this is the largest meet that we had up to date...

Raj took some pictures, I think he will post after he'll be back from work tomorrow.

Jared, i met the kid who bought your mp5. He goes to Mountain View High Scool. I'll go find the car and take pics tommorow.

ha ha, nice dude, did you tell him about the board and the thread? I hope he appreciates what was left of the stereo that was left in that thing, otherwise it was all stock.

Woo hoo I just learned how to tig weld last night and I got pretty damn good at it too. If anyone wants to come up to davis we can go to the shop and make rear strut bars together. I made all the measurements already and got to cutting out the base plates last night. The bar I'm making right now should come in under 4 lbs.

Maybe even do a little HWY 128 action
