You have it reversed... they are front linear/rear progressive. That way you keep the exceptional turn-in of the car and the rear end loads up letting you get on the throttle sooner and power your way out of corners.Natey said:Looks good, Ya. Almost like stock!

(uhm) Kinda seems like progressive in the front and linear in the rear would just make the Protege's understeer even worse...I don't know, though. I'm just thinking out loud.
Most aftermarket springs are progressive all the way around. With progressive springs you lose some turn-in and you can get kind of a floaty feeling at speed.
