What's the deal with your mani? Whaddaya mean "no solution"? Air filter on backorder? WTH does that mean? There's air filters in every auto parts store, and a lot of 'em have K&N.

Nope not pulling your leg.
Basically, I have the bumper off of my car right now so I could re-run the HID lighting etc... and my CAI filter needed to be replaced but it's not as easy to change without taking the bumper off as the Injen was and I ordered an Apexi filter from Overbooststore.com and it's on backorder. I am not going to go buy a filter to put it on and then rip the bumper off again.
The mani, had a hairline crack in it. Now it's much bigger than a hairline crack :'(
Local dealers won't warranty because of the mods (reasonable) and a new mani is like $800. There is no way in hell I am going to pay $800 for an OEM mani. Juan at HiBoost was supposed to be making me a nice HiBoost mani but he hasn't gotten back to me yet and no other aftermarket options exist asides from a very nice, but very expensive Ion manifold. Everyone else is "In development" with their exhaust mani. I am working to try and get a dealer elsewhere to warranty mine right now, but until that is fixed I can't really push the car.
And I am STILL waiting for radiator fans from AWR, they should really put that this stuff is gonna take this long on their site so you have realistic expectations when you order. I was told it would take about a week, but here I am almost a month later and still waiting.
So at this point I think I am going to just take the exhaust mani and turbo off the car and just wait until I get a new manifold before putting it all back together.

why don't you just jb weld the mani crack temporarily? if it can be used for engine cylinder repair i'm sure it can take an exhaust manifold

We'll see what we can do. Thanks for the offers guys, but I have been told any fix won't be permanent, it would just be temporary. I may try and get the mani off this weekend, but I don't want to be taking it on and off all the time.

Radiator fans came today!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!!!
They look so freaking nice. All praise the mighty fabrication gods at AWR (even if they did take a long time to deliver)
This was worth waiting for.

Anyways, it's bolt on for P5 radiators only, won't fit the MSP radiator.
