Hwy 9 Fun Run!

I'm so ****** in for a drive this week! I gotta see Nate's new pimp rider! But the most important question is...

Does the cupholder fit your water bottle? ;)

hey everyone, can anyone explain the redline vs. fuel cut for the protege....i've always worried going past 6500rpm, but then i've hit 7000rpm a few times before....i figured it was ok and the fuel would cut would be about there....but i accidently revved to what i perceived to be almost 8000rpm on my tach....assuming my tach is not malfunctioning and i'm not imagining it...where was the fuel cut? not included on the dx model? i feel this slight thudding in the car while moving (started before the major overrev) thought it was the tires, but they checked out at wheel works for being balanced and no flat spots...so is it my engine? it doesn't happen when i rev in place, only while driving (around 40-50 mph)...i think it's my fear and imagination getting the best of me

Hey Vu you did really well in my car and I didn't hear any grinding at all. I think some things you need to work on though are knowing your grip threshold. You will go faster through the course if you follow these simple rules.
1 don't hit cones
2 in turns your tires should not make any/little sound

I'll let you take it for a spin any time you want

melicha you have a trunk monkey? where can i get one, i have to move back to LA in a week =(

Sure. What time?
We oughtta check Calaveras again. That road is a beauty.(thumb)
Doing the gym thing, so anytime after 7:30 or so is good. Only caveat is that I have a meeting on Thursday, so I don't want to be out too late.

I was hoping more that we'd hit that loop again, but if you 're willing to make that drive, Calaveras is a good choice too.

Who's with us tomorrow?

my g/f is leaving next wed. for school :( i have a feeling im gonna do alot of driving...(if my lsd dosent blow :( )

You're fine (bike) (2thumbs)

My mom backed into the garage door, now I can't get it open again. I want to change the exhaust manifold gasket on my car so I can drive it (sad2)
