Hwy 9 Fun Run!

No fans till next week :'(

At this point I think I am going to take the exhaust manifold off and the radiator out and just not drive the car again until I get a new manifold.

Go to Pepboy or Kragen get a K&N Filter Recharge kit and follow the direction. It has the cleaner and oil you need included.

Here's a pic of that suicidal fox on Calaveras Rd.

ahhhh the fox is much cuter than the suicidal deer you guys came across back in the day.

Yea, except this fox was just hanging out in the middle of calaveras road and wasnt moving at all. We almost hit it on boh the first and second runs. NATEY, I didnt know you had your good digital camera with you, or else I would have had you take a pic of da WRX in action.

I may be in for a drive, but it'll have to be kinda late. I told my dad I'd have dinner with him tonight.

Hey guys, how do you clean the Injen Filter ??

get the cleaning kit, make sure it's completely dry, maybe overnight, some use a spare filter temporarily for a day...and then spray on the oil evenly, try not to over oil the filter or it will get sucked through and make friends with your MAF sensor

it has to be a k&n filter because of the shape. the way the filter fits is tricky and k&n is the only one i know of that will work

I'm still around if you still wanna go cruise around for a bit

I was juuuuuuust picking up the vodka but decided to wait

If you have an Injen intake, I don't think you HAVE to use K&N filter. I read it in one of the thread via the search that there are other filters that can fit on Injen, and probably have better air flow than K&N.

He has a CF MHP intake with a 3" pipe. It's kinda tough to find a filter that's big enough to fit the piping, but small enough to fit into the fender well. :)

I read the same thread, Jimmy. I think the Apex'i one beat all other filters in every catagory.
