Gaining more insights into the low numbers... Looks like one of my radiator fans was broken at the time we did the dyno and the nuts holding the S-pipe to the turbo had come loose, and the crack in my manifold is growing. Get all that resolved and my intake air temps should go down, yielding the power that I should be making...

Expedia, Travelocity, and all those places are giving me a total of about $900, staying at the Stratasphere.
I have never used a travel agent, in this age of the internet and all, but a lady at the gf's work checked with one nad the $700 was cheaper thent he internet to my surprise.
Just asking around and and thought maybe one of you guys had one. Oh well...

sorry man, i just got back from vegas and i stayed a few nights at MGM, on the floor of my buddy's hotel room, his family was there and they let us crash with them for no charge, also spent a night at my grandmother's place since she lives in Vegas. So for 3 nights there i paid 0$. No travel agent, but if you have the extra day or two, drive. its about 550 miles from san jose, even with the air going the whole way i got 30 miles to the gallon in the protege so gas doesnt kill you, and its prolly cheaper than flying. Just a thought.

I wouldn't mind the drive, except that she has a hard time getting away from work and we have to make this a Friday-Sun thing.
Checked back with Travelocity.com and a Excalibur package is now $633 with air. Not bad. It's not like we're gonna be in the room much anyway. She says we should just stay in some po-dunk hotel, but **** that! I want to at least go somewhere decent and close to the Strip.

Kinda. I don't really want to fear for our lives or safety, jsut because I wanted to save a few bucks. Plus having a decent casino downstairs may come in handy. I love to gamble.
And the trip is for her birthday, so I kinda want to splurge a little...
PS: Also looking into tickets for O, the Cique de Solei show @ the Bellagio. $100 a pop! My buddy went, though, and said it was the s***.
Now I just gotta count my pennies. Sold the roof rack covers to a guy by my work for $50. That's a start...
