Damn, I am craving some mountain driving, even though my right arm is sore as a motha fucka. I bent my steering wheel from the impact. Should I get an STI grill and carbon fiber hood in replacement of the OEM versions? Or should I just get all OEM body parts? I have already decided on getting nice PIAA driving lights in replacement of the fogs, and an STI steering wheel. But a fiber images hood sounds pretty nice. Also, if I go with the CF hood, should i leave it unpainted or painted?

Woot, my engine build starts tomorrow with a drive to SPD Racing!
I put in my fuel pump tonight and installed the GT Spec lower ladder bar and front lower tie bar. Phenomenal! Totally worth it. I highly recommend these pieces. It's weight savings, and it really stiffens up the car. I am so stoked that Chris @ EDO allowed me to get them with the understanding that if they didn't fit with the ION Exhaust I could send them back and get a full refund.

Regarding our tire discussion the other day. I just looked up the treadwear on the stock Bridgestone Potenza RE-040 Tires, it is indeed only 140....
Loving the toyos with double the treadwear at 280.

Well, the project has begun.
The MSP is at SPD Racing getting internals and Juan called me tonight while I was at the airport waiting for my flight home. If all goes according to plan my engine upgrades will be complete and I drive home on Saturday night in my brand new Disco Potato powered Mazdaspeed
