I ordered myself the same tires again. It cost me $150 a tire so I got myself two for the front and moving the front to the back. The total was about $425, but yea I cant go to school until they have it on. It has to be special ordered so I wont have it until 3 to 5 business days. I already missed school yesterday and my sister doesnt have work today so shes taking me to school so I might need to borrow someones tires for next week. I might need to borrow them for 5 days the most so thanks to all the ones that are helping me out. I'll try to contact you if I need them for school on Monday.

dude.... for 425..... you could have gotten a full set of azenis, es100's, parada spec 2's or even toyo ts1's. can you cancel your order????

vs. what tires?

I wouldn't call the ES100 super-grip tires by far. They're very good for the money.

i didnt literally mean twice as grippy:p just better than stock 150 for any stock tire is ludicrious. but still that is the normal price for them

BTW, I recently ordered a set of 4 Toyo Proxes T1S for about $59 a tire, came to about $300 shipped.
Someone got PWND.

hot damn!!!
Yeah, they had a special on Miata OEM sized tires, if I had gone for 205/50s instead of 195/50s, they would've been close to $110 a piece.

Ha ha, surely 1 centimeter wider can't make that huge a difference in handling. And if it does, well I guess I won't find out.

i think 1 cm wider matters only when you have grippier compounds, but also, there isn't that much rubber that keeps the car to the ground in the first place, so maybe every little bit counts....my new falken ziexs are wider than my oem by 1 cm but there is also a big 1 cm wide water channel right in the middle of the tread, so i think the contact patch is about the same for my tire change

humm one forum member has had an underdrive pulley on for 10k miles with no problems. if it dosent effect gas mileage that much, i think i'll do it:D

It won't make much of a gain with an automatic.:(
Peter had one on his P5 and it made a pretty nice difference.

he didnt have one. some guys on the boards with automatics have them and the made some differance. its worth a shot:p
Peter had a UDP on his P5. (yes)

If you can find one for relatively cheap, why not give it a try?

i just recently asked him and he said he didnt have the underdrive pulley, he had the unorthadox flywheel:D oh snap!!!!

anyways the pulley only costs 149 on one site because its a clearance item (woowoo) normal price is 249
