Hwy 9 Fun Run!

Nate, Ya is gonna be out camping and s***, I'd love to roll with you if possible, I can meet you somewhere, but not anywhere super far from my house, I dont want to tempt my luck in the truck.

The problem with Ya's car was that he just didnt maintain it or something and got a bad tank of gas.

Hi Jimmy,

This is Julie (Nate's wife) Nate is trying to get ahold of you please either post your phone number or call Nate at 831-818-8933. He has my phone the number is 8933 not 8932.

Thanks!

Jimmy,

Nate doesn't have your phone number with him. He went to Saratoga and waited and now he is on the way to the meet.

Uhh, my oil filter seal was broken and so it would squirt oil all over. I still have not figured out the clicking problem.

The engine doesn't make any out-of-the-ordinary vibrations and I have figured that the sound is throttle-related.

Very little throttle will produce the loud buzz/tick but as you apply throttle it goes away and comes back above 4000 rpm even at WOT.

I am beginning to think that a heat shield or something is lose and is just rattling around.

What happened to the P5?

DOH! That sucks... Glad he is okay though.

Off to the Depot to get a couple of things then the front bumper goes back on my car and it's time to test out the FMIC. :D

Tito1: I would join ya, but today is girlfriend day.

Does anyone have a place where I can lift my car up so I can get underneath and get rid of the "cylinders are slapping around" noise...

It sounds like one of those party favor things that you spin around to make noise...

I'm gonna take it off next week and do some body work with a heat gun and a rubber mallet. With enough time I should get it back to a more presentable look. My P5 has dimples now. Other than rock chips our cars are pretty resilient. Other than some dented urethane and a busted grill there is no other damage. I'll check next week for any major underbody damage such as the mounting tabs for the headlights and foglights.

The drive home was bad. I passed 17 somewhere on the way home and ended up taking 1 all the way to SF. I then took 101 to 80 to get home. It probably added a thirty minutes or so to my drive
