Hwy 9 Fun Run!

Well, looks like I dodged a bullet then. he he. Sunday night and still feeling fine.

Roy,

Saw you at Oakridge in the parking lot on Sunday afternoon.

Did you ever find a space? My Fiancee and I were going to go to Cheesecake factory, drove around the parking lot for 15-20 minutes and then gave up and went to fishmarket instead.

F*** malls!

Oakridge used to be so much nicer to go to, now it's so freaking big and the parking lot is terrible.

..... Side note. My replacement fuel rail for the defective one came today... So hopefully car can be running again this week and ready to take back down south.

Sorry to bring this thread back to the topic of hwy 9 fun runs (:P) but do you guys have any videos of hwy 9? I saw natey's deer footage but that was all I saw.

I have this camera mount thingie and have been meaning to get footage sometime but have never gotten around to it... and in fact haven't been able to drive much at all of late :'(

There have been lots of pictures posted, but Natey's deer video is the only video I know of to date.

I wish I had been as lucky as you were with the deer. Got mine fixed today. $250, paintless dent repair = w1n. Btw natey, which car handles better, your p5 or your miata?

After putting about 1500 bucks into the P5's suspension, the Miata still smokes it. (thumb)
Once it gets wet, though, it's a different story. The Miata's great, but the Protege is just so...confidence inspiring when it gets slippery. Also, on long high speed sweepers, the P5 seems a little more composed. Gotta love those JICs!

That 'yata, though. It's just soo flickable! 90% of the time it's the one I'll pick. :D

Miata drifting: (56K (yawn))

Sounds fun. I want a miata one day, with some boost of some sort (I envy you!). I'm still in love with my jic's though, these things rock! What settings do you run yours at? I'm running 6 all around for street right now. Autox sunday I'll probably do 13fr 15 r.
