Hwy 9 Fun Run!

Just wanted to drop a line and say hey. I'm trying to catch up on the posts, but dang you guys post way too much for me to catch up. I wont be able to go out until I get settled with school again, so that means late September or early October :'( . On the plus side, I will have enough money to do my suspension all at once (2thumbs) . I was thinking of ground control, but havent heard much about it on this site. What ppl usualy suggest is the tokico hps + H&R springs (if not eibach springs) + AWR Rear Sway bar. I was thinking of the ground controls, but if you guys think its the wrong way to go, feel free to suggest a better set up cause I think I'll have the money for it (naughty) .

and yes auto innovations did my alignment exactly to my spec, they spent over 2 hrs trying to get it right and in the end they had it within some hundreths of a degree, highly recommended.

Thanks for the info, but im out of town again (1 year 1 month and already have 40k miles ****!!). I wont be back in San Jose till lets say mid September, around the 12th ,13th ,and 14th. De Anza doesnt start school till September 20th, so if anything goes down between those days, i'll try and make it.

Hey, GTX guy! (sorry, I forgot your name(stoned)) If you want to stop by on saturday, you're more than welcome. Just post here and I'll pm you my address. :)
Thanks, I'd love to but I'm heading up to the City to catch a ball game. One of these damn days, I'll get my s*** together, and will be able to go hit the mountain again.

OK, so Winchester doesn't carry RP. They didn't even carry Castrol Syntec! WTF? They did, however, have RL MT-90. So I picked up some for me. I also got the long flex funnel and the 23mm socket in a .5" drive.

Nate, I left before you posted, so I'll head back today and pick you up 3 qts. It's right down the street from my house, so it's not a big deal. Unless you'd rather look around and try to find some RP. Either way, let me know.

Andrew, yeah, got your VM. Meant to call you back, but I got busy with some other stuff and it just slipped my mind. My bad. If you're not doing anything, you could swoop down to Nates this weekend. The drive is another issue though. Kinda far.

my g/f just left for school :( and i cant drive :( tearing my car apart today and tomorrow so i can replace any bent suspension pieces and get a new lsd. anyways see you guys on the touge soon (wink)
