Hwy 9 Fun Run!

That was a fun drive. I'm pretty slow in the RX-7, but in time I'll get it set up. It seems a good bit more heavy than the Miata, but I can definately see how people make those cars so fast. I like the balance. :)

185-70/14! (yupnope)

f that, i hear if you run yuor tranny without oil you gain 5 hp from less drag

i heard some drag cars back in the day would make runs without one of the compression piston rings, since there's two compression rings and an oil ring, they remove about half of the cylinder wall friction and gained lots of power, but they would have to tear down the engine imediately afterwards.....so if you're about to junk your car, drain all the tranny fluid, take out the second piston ring, run an open head with no filter and no exhaust and drive it into the ground...thats the way it would want to end its life, a fiery blaze of glory....speaking of blaze, bring a fire extinguisher just in case

SWEET! I'll rain it tonight and keep it in 2nd all the way to Nates!

So we should put a list together of whos bringing what, to be sure we don't end up with 10 bags of chi[s and no soda.

Tony- Sausages, Buns
Ya- Sodas
Nate- Grill, Condaments

Anyone else?

Hmm no wonder the front brakes got eaten so quickly, like an idiot I botched the rear brake installation and didn't adjust the calipers properly, bad enough to where pulling the ebrake only will make the car pull to one side

Kicking myself in the ass now.

Alright, I'm outta here. Couldn't wait for this weekend to get here!

Nate, Ya, possibly Jimmy, I'll see you tomorrow bright and early. Nate, I got your MT-90 with me. I'll also bring the sausages and buns for grillin.

Other then that, have a good one and I'll see you guys tomorrow morning.

The Subaru drivers from Scotts Valley are getting together and going out driving on wednesdays. We should coordinate a co-meet/driver.
