Okay ya'll

Time to expand our horizons and do like a organized meet/bbq on a weekend and try and get some more of our bay area mazdaists out.

I was thinking that Vasona park in Los Gatos would be pretty sweet. It's like 2 or 3 turns off of 17, pretty easy to get too.

Last time I went there, nobody was in the booth at the entrance to the park so I just drove in. If I recall the vehicle fee isn't too bad.

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. Work has got me busier then Kobe at a high school dance.

Nate, glad to hear those JICs are woking for ya! I bet the ride is killer! And I did see ya when I ran the Wharf to Wharf, but no way in hell was I stoppin'! Maybe next year, we can do the beer thing!

I'm down to meet up this Wed., if that still the plan. I'll keep checking out this thread, but I may not be able to post too much.

Edit: Jared, I put the RB on this weekend, and I couldn't be happier! The tone is awesome, and the power band is really smoothed out! After I put the RB on, my buddy and I were tinkering under the hood, and in 20 mins. and for $0, we were able to construct a CAI! Best part? The piping is yellow! Seriously, at night, with both the RB and the CAI, you can really feel the P5 pull. I don't need to have the fastest car, as long as it feels like its fast. Nexst meet, I'll have to show ya'll.
Alright, now I really gotta run. I'm late for a meeting!

If you take 17, you get off at Los gatos/Saratoge Road heading towards Los Gatos, Turn right on University Avenue, then turn right on Blossom Hill and the entrance to the park is on your left. If you want to get there another way consult the Yahoo! Map posted above.

It's easy to get there from 85 via Winchester as well. It's a nice location that's easy to get too.

I can bring either buns and fixins for the burgers or I can go with what I did last time and get either macaroni/potato salad and a fruit salad, whatever you guys want.
