natey.. bend the rear hanger down.. or be ghetto like me.. and slice the center of the rubber hanger -=P

Natey, my STB came while I was away at P-fest on Friday :D

I'll dig up the email with the instructions for you. I am gonna go to the dealer and pick up a couple of those little tabs for covering the holes in the plastic at the bottom of the windshield, do you want me to buy a couple for you too?

Jared, I'd be stoked if you got me a couple of those. I have a feeling mine will break too. I'll pay you for them when I see you. :)

John, LOL! I was just pondering whether I should do that! I also tried stuffing a socket in the hanger to extend it(ala Sean's little hillbilly-rig) but that didnt do s***.

^ just wanted to say whats up to all the nor-cal heads that i met at p-fest! thx for coming!!!!!!! great meeting all of you! next time we need to get a little session going! lol

Good to met you too, Mike.(It is Mike, right?) Sorry we didn't get a chance to have a session wit ya. Next time I'm down in SoCal, I'll see if there's a mini-meet going on and try to drop in.

Yeah, Mike! (drinks)

If you ever find yourself in the Bay Area, give us a shout! That would be sick to see you up Hwy 9 with that MSP5 of yours.

...Damn, I shoulda knocked on your door on Sunday morning. Andrew and me were gettin on the good foot. ;)

natey.. i just cut one of em. cus i was getting a rattle where the pipe was hitting somehting. -=\ it was the second one back.. im sure u can cut the first one back and have no problems.. im pretty sure i still have my stock hangers here.. so if u want to try to cut yours and it doesnt work let me know and ill send u a stocker..
let me know if u want to try it.. so i can make sure i didnt throw it away first.

lol, I already tried it. It's still butting up against the bumper, no matter how I adjust it. I cut both hangers and even stuffed a 15mm socket into the rear one...it's still not only touching, but pressed against the bumper.

...For a 500+ dollar exhaust, this thing fits like crap. The hangers that JIC welded into it seem to be placed to damn low on the pipe. Maybe I'm missing something, but I've been ******* with it all day long and I refuse to put my stock exhaist back on.

hey natey,

you should check out pepboys or autozone. I think they have some generic exhaust
hangers with wider spacings between the hanger holes. you may have to drill out the
wholes to fit but those may help.

bend the metal hanger.. use a torch and heat it.. then bend it a little.. maybe that will create more slack

Oh no~ Nate got JIC exahust now... his car is nearly complete~

Dammit! Now nate's car makes my car look like a POS~ :<

You guys think that's enough clearance? I've been fumbling with it all day long, but I'm pretty sure that it's not gonna burn the bumper now.
I'm not even gonna go into detail about what I had to do to get this thing to fit.(drunk)
