Hwy 9 Fun Run!

s***! ****! PISS! ASSHOLE! b****! COCK SUCKER! MOTHER ******!

Well, it's done. The worst possible outcome has happened.

I have officially lost my license, COMPLETELY, for 30 days. :(
I also now owe a fine $425 fine.
Fianally, I have received 2 points on my record.

Basically, the judge was a dick. He was giving everyone the highest penalty for whatever they were there for. Let me asure that I was not the only one who lost their license today. Thanks, Judge Leslie!

The second two I expected, but the total loss of license was a huge surprise. I mean, it is one thing to essentially "ground" me from driving to social activities, but to interfere with the way I make my living is too much. WHAT THE ****!!!! How am I supposed to make the money to pay the fine if I can't get to work? Thanks, dick!

So because of this, I am in a interesting situation with my boss. I live about 20 miles from work, and at this point have no idea how I will get to work now. This is not something that you like to bring up to your boss. "Oh yeah, Charles, by the way...uhh, I lost my license, so I'm not sure how to get to work."
"Uhhh, Tony? Yeah. You can pack your s***!"

I'm gonna boogie. I don't wanna think about it anymore. At least not talk about it. I'll still keep posting here, but I'm out of commission for a bit.

Oh yeah... HAPPY THANKGIVING EVERYONE! Have a great and safe weekend. See ya'll soon.

PS: Happy 500th post for me! :o

****, that's some s***...

Well hey if you ever wanna hang out with us and get (stoned) just let me know.

Same goes for Roy I see ;)

That sucks Tony! However I was under the impression that if you could show that it was required you drive for work, that you could still drive in that case, just too and from work?

Sorry to hear about your license bro, and I hope this doesn't dampen your weekend too much. You always have a seat in my ride if you want to tag along.

**** da police! I had a dream I got caught drinking in public or something. that sucked. lol

Happy Thanksgiving Guys!

Off to Felton for some RV camping with the parents. Enjoy your extended weekend!

Tony,
That's a bummer, bro. I hate to say it, but does the Shame Train run by your house and work? That may be your only hope. :(

Jared,
you're gnarley. It's f-ing FREEZING out there at night, especially in the mountains. I'm sure you've got plenty of firewood, though. Have fun!

Rishie,
Thanks for getting me into those couple of car shows for free. I'll never forget driving my P5 on the track at Laguna Seca.

Everyone,
Happy Thanksgiving! Eat lotsa turkey, and give the family hugs!

Foggy I hope you did alright.

I believe that Roy may have misrepresented what sponsorships can be from us and I think i chewed him out pretty good for it. I am sorry Roy. I just had a feeling this would happen.

The protege guys do get a great deal from us and one I would definitely consider to be standard sponsor prices without and strings attached.
...

Peace, rishie
Added all up, the "partial sponsorships" and "full sponsorships" I've recieved has been above even the retail cost of those coilovers (let alone cost). I'm not talking about pizzas either.

All of that changing nothing what I had already been doing to begin with. Now imagine when I spend time developing a website for a vendor, help to streamline the ordering process, come up with custom databases and reports for trending, website log analysis, automation of computer processes, promotional events, local parts deliveries to meets, prototype part design and testing, etc etc. Just putting out a test video for my camera mount shot my bandwidth up to 3gb off my website in just a day and a half. The video was only 6 mb at the most. You do the math and tell me how many people would have seen your logo/parts/deals/prices/etc had your information been at the beginning and end of the video. Hell, most of these things I'd do even in exchange for just an honest "thank you" because so far the vendors/people I've worked with are very respectful and honorable.

But whatever, I got to take my bike for its first ride with me as the owner today and I'm still on a high... I switched it from monoposto to biposto last night and took it around my roads for about 7 miles.

And a 1.4 mb video of me admiring the throttle response after switching the seat/tail section:

Edit: some stats on my website since January of 2002 (minus a couple months when I forgot to download my logs, lol):

Distinct hosts served 30,900 Hosts
Distinct hosts served in last 7 days 1,618 Hosts
Total data transferred 25.300 GB
Total data transferred in last 7 days 1.129 GB

Ya Tday was great. I think i'm gonna take the miata out tonite since the woman is gone. haha.

Dave I don't wish to discuss the details of sponsorships in this thread. I'm simply taking care of a statement that was said and your reaction to it. Beyond that you have the option to come in and propose to me or not. We have a opportunity for some WRX's to run some phenomenal suspension. We are one sponsor not a combination of them. Either way it's the sponsees job to present a "sponsorable" image or proposal. You're either interested or not.

If you were serious you would have already been at the office to make a proposal. I'm not so naive that I would ever say, "Here's a full sponsorship," without ever hearing what you can put on the table. I was making an offer as a joke because Nate runs JIC's. At the same time we are working on a tech article for the Evo and the WRX so we are looking for likely sponsees. It served a dual purpose.

This is a weak proposal for full sponsorship,

How have I disrespected or been dishonorable to you in any way Dave? Your implications are foul. It's like you're disappointed cause I didn't say, "Oh here's some free coilovers." "Oh ya by the way what did you say your name was since we haven't met yet?" What's up with the animosity. I'm sure you're a real nice guy and have a good thing going with your car. It's just kinda sad that you're trying to make a point i'm agreeing with, over and over again. I'm just saying you gotta make your case before a judge can pass judgement. I hope in the future you would stop by and see what we will be doing.

OOOHHHHH we were up there tonight and on the way up we see an 97 240sx FLYING DOWN and he was closely followed by a silver jetta. Now we go up, hit a bowl, get (stoned) and then on the way back down we see this Jetta upside down and an S14 right behind it. We got pics on Liz's cellphone

hey, if anybody wants to swing by, I'm in pleasant hill... lol. Gotta work on the brakes, and maybe the fuel pump. Hope the car will run better with the PCV and fuel filter replaced. Only component that still needs to be done is the O2 sensor but it just doesn't come out! :'(
