Hwy 9 Fun Run!

I had to go to Felton tonight, so I was actually up there tonight too. Hit the Saratoga side of 9 around 8:10-15 or so and ended up in Felton at 9:00.

Such thick fog, wet roads, and some people that don't understand the concept of a turn-out made for a not so fun ride on the Santa Cruz side of the summit.

Oh well, at least it was still better then taking 17 over.

Then coming home around 12:30 over 17 there was insane, pea soup fog, rocks that had fallen on the road and drunk people... Fun times... It is like the video game on hard mode...

We were smoking a "ciggarette" over at vista last night and like all of a sudden this dude in a ******* X-cop car rolls up and I was giving a lighter back to this dude and s*** that was scary, I want a cop car.

One of my %&*$#@&% headlights went out last night...It BETTER be a fuse, or I'm gonna snap.

Hey you guys. Will you read this and tell me whether I should add to it or what? I'm thoroughly pissed off right now, so it's hard for me to tell if I'm getting my point across without going overboard. Thanks. :o

To whom it may concern,
I'm writing this email to request my money back.
I bought a McCollough 5300k kit from Uhohitzmikey through Alex Lopez on Protege5.com for $290US. After I had the lights for about a week, a ballast died. I sent it back and although it was under warranty, I still had to pay 37 bucks for shipping. Now my 2nd ballast is dead. Same side, new ballast, DEAD.

I've had these lights lit for a total of about 40 hours, and now they've died again. I disconnected everything, and swithed the bulbs around. It's not the bulbs..it's the ballast. I have the ballast bolted to the car, and I've had a 20a fuse from Day 1. This is getting out of hand. I'm a very active member of several nation-wide car clubs, so if you work this out, you'll get a ton of good publicity.

Please make this right and refund my money. I don't want any more problems with faulty HIDs, so I'm just going to leave my lights stock. I'm out $327 bucks
Thank you,
Nate Penniman

its a very good letter.. i wish u the best. i guess i am very lucky. i got my kit from alex at liteswap and have had it on for like 9 months with no problems..
when we get to the thing in sb ill take a look at it and see if maybe u have a bad ground or a wire grounding out that is killing your ballast.. after all.. lets look at the positive side of this an try to get u fixed.

(notcool)I've gone through the anger stage, and now depression is setting in.

I guess I'll just eat the $330 bucks and tell anyone who will listen to stay away from McCollogh. I can't even believe this s***. After they ******-up the first time, I had to wait over a month for my new ballast. Since I paid out the ass for these peices of s*** three months ago, I've had my stock lights in more than the HIDs!

If I make a big deal about it and(by some miracle) get new parts for free, they'll just **** up again in a couple of weeks...Why bother with all the extra wires cluttering up the engine-bay if the damn HIDs aren't dependable?
I'm over it until I can afford a quality Catz kit that will actually LIGHT UP when I turn on my headlights...

Dear McCollough and Uhohitzmikey: (fu) Thanks for bending me over with a bad product.
