Wow Thats Really Bad, That Makes Me Sad Thinking About All The People That Loose Everything In Their Hauses , Cars And All Their Things.

Well since the hurricane season is just now starting and last year it lasted for forever, it looks like a lot of people will still be rebuilding into the winter that doesent sound like a fun winter to me. I mean i live in oregon, and yeah it rains a lot, but the summers are nice, autumn is great, and winter gets a little rainy. But all in all i think it is probably one of the best places to live other then texas.

hurricane season is not just starting. we are through half of it but the most active part is august- early october

They have a few parishes (counties) near new orleans where you have to acquire a permit to go to your house. Then the police will help you to your house so you can get whatever you want to save and then you can't return to your house for 1 month. I can't imagine abandoning all of my belongs and living in hotels or shelters or whatever for a month.

FEMA has shut down rescue operations in New Orleans. No one else is being rescued. They're saying it's too dangerous with all the crazy people with guns and the disease that is starting to be rampant throughout the city.

Theyre doing what has to be done to assure that more people dont die. Believe it or not, they have a little bit more experience with this whole "Disaster Management" thing than you, ya know?

No they are not. Thier responcibility is to help people that both need AND want help. Poeple shooting at thier rescuers obviosly don't want help. And I don't think they should get it. Unfortunatly there are tonsd of people among them that DO want help. They can't get hep because the people who don't want it are ******* it all up.

There are people in new Orleans randomly killing other people.
That is against the law
Therefore they have broken the law
In turn its the police job to arrest, kill, or beat those people.
Its funny the police don't have a problem using excessive force on peaceful protesters but when real mayhem is going on they lock themselves inside their stations and cower.

Im saying the cops should do their job so FEMA can help people.
Does anyone else know they are trying to declare martial law? FEMA has already locked down parts of the city so peopel cant even leave if they wanted to.
