I know this is not my area since i am a P5 owner. But my friend has a 3 and he was saying that he wanted to get 19" or 20" wheels for his and I think that would for sure rub even with really low pro. Any body know anything about that??

there was a dude a while back runnin 20's.... and a couple people sell 19's that supposedly fit.... fug that shiat man why would you want to ride on rubber bands? no perf at all.... so said... 18" is as big as he should go... try to esplian it to him...

Regardless if it will fit or not, I hope your friend is ready to be admired by few but mocked by most.

Don't listen to them. I have twenty's on my vehicle and it rides great!

Just look at any new Dodge ram with the factory twenties.

20's would look terrible. There is always a point when rims get to big and on a 3 20's are that point.

I think 18's are as big as you should go on any econobox. Anything bigger than that just looks silly IMO. Plus tires are ungodly expensive.

you can make up to 20 work, but as everyone says, why? I have seen some 19's....dont remember whose, they were stern wheels on a blue three and it looked amazing. other than that, I would just say go 18, i mean, look how sexy mine is! haha

check out the link in my sig for a pic of 20's. The guy got so many bad comments and got pissed at everyone becase they hated it. The pics are on page 1. Just tell your bud to get 18's.

yea of course you can fit 20's or bigger on a ram, but its a damn truck you have a giant space to fit a fatter tire on the 20's. When you have limited wheel well space and a bigger rim you cant put that fat of a tire without fear of rubbing.

aside from looks he would be increasing the rotational mass of the wheel and tire.

well if hes looking to get 19s or 20s then he is not looking for performance so that would not be a big concern, unless hes is loking for more performance later in that case he is what many would call an idiot.

Hi, i am new to this forum and i drive a black mazda 3 sedan. Is that really your car? that s sweeT! i m thinking of some new rims. i hav something in mind but don't know what brand has the thing i want. I m thinking 6 stroke, bronze(kinda between golden and brown), and is 18". i think i ll still be using all season tires. On the other hand i saw a picture of a blue mazda 3 sedan in this forum which the 3 has the original rims but painted in gray-ish black...that looks awesome too. So i was wondering about the cost of the wheels i have in mind and the cost of changing the wheels color. please reply~ thanks!
