how to wire 2nd amp

does any body know how to wire 2nd amp? i have a 2 channel amp with 10" single sub. also, recently just bought an upgrade speakers and a 4 channel amp to run the interior speakers.

You can either use 1/0 from the battery to a distribution block and run from the block to each amp, or wire the 2nd one directly to the battery with whatever wire it recommends.

Get a distribution block with fuses. Best/safest way. They aren't expensive, ~$15 for a simple 1-4 block. Been a while since I messed with car audio but you should be able to find 1-2 dist. blocks (splitters more or less) too.

what about the speaker wires and RCA, should i just run the speaker wires to the back of the stock speakers wires, (i have stock head unit ) it is the stock speaker wires too small?????? also, im using RCA converter output for signal. do i have to buy another RCA converter output? any aidvise will be greatly appreciated!!

Your speaker wires should stem from the Amp, so not sure what you mean by that... And for the signal wire just tap into the existing one and make sure its a good closed connection and run the 2nd wire to your new amp. For the RCAs you'll need an additional set of pre-outs to plug into. Instead of using RCA converters I would recommend getting a new HU that supports a multi-amp setup better. Legit pre-outs and a specific sub-out will make your system much better. Get good 4V+ pre-outs, you'lll appreciate it. Clearer, Lower bass response and less distortion. This will mean better, bigger sound & less wear on your subs so they will last longer.

sorry my english is bad.what i mean i want to keep the stock head unit, thats y i was confuse where to run the speaker wires from that 4 channel amp. it is same way as the aftermarket head unit to able to catch signal? currently im running aftermarket sub with stock head unit. i ran signal from the rear speaker wires through at a RCA converter output.

I'm using the stock head unit with the JL Audio CL-RLC.

It allows you to add a second amp, control the sound level of the sub via the signal, and if wired correctly will not add ground loop noise.

If you add the JL Audio CL-441dsp you can simply wire the head unit speaker line outputs to the CleanSweep, then pull the signal from the rear RCA outputs into the CL-RLC.

I also used the Blaupunkt PnP020 wire harness so that I didn't have to cut wires on the factory harness. The speaker wires on the harness matched the color code for the speaker wires in the Speed, so wiring it up was very simple.
