How-To: Tint your turn Signals (or Tail Lights)

I tinted my tail lights using a combo of this how-to and a different how-to from a different site.

It turned out a lot better than i expected.. I used a 600 paper to sand it down, gave 2 coats of VHT spray, then used 3 coats of enamel gloss spray or something (forget the name). One thing I didn't do was give it a sand with the 2000 paper after the gloss. It was getting dark and I'm very impatient and I just wanted to finish it.

Overall, I spent 34$ and it took 3 hours. I bought VHT, clear coat, 400, 600, 800, 1000 and a 2000 paper but i only ended up using the 600.

Nice job!

And i'm surprised how tough it is facing the elements. Rain snow ice whatever, my lights still shine!!!
