How to remove tires

Confused

Hi all this may sound like a dumb question but I have a 2001 Mazda Millenia and have removed all the lug nuts and the one locking lug nut but the tire still will not budge or come off. Can anyone help me here? Is there another locking mechanism that I am unaware of. Please help. Am stuck until I get this figured out.

Confused.

Until someone comes and gives a better solution, the only thing I can suggest is to just keep wiggling it, and pushing on it and stuff. Just don't knock your car off the jackstands!!
A lot of people have had problems with the wheels sticking just as yours is, and I don't recall any other methods that worked. There is nothing else to take off, it's just simply stuck. Keep trying.

EDIT: You beat me to it:)

Not a dumb question at all. I think that happened to every one of us the first time we tried to take our wheel off. It did to me. :)

Give it das boot!

If it won't budge, try loosening(not removing) the lug nuts, then roll the car a couple of feet. This should do the trick if nothing else has.

Thanks that worked everyone.

Just wanted to drop a line to say thanks. I beat the outside of the rim all the way around and then gave it a good yank and it finally came off and sure enough there was a little surface rust on the inside of the rim. Anyway thanks for the speedy replies.

Only happens with my rears/stock rims. My winter rims come off easy. The Alum rims get stock/rustred to the alum rotors. There is some stuff you can put between the two to minimize the sticking. I have never done it though. Just give the rim a couple hard kicks with you heal.........works eventually. Wait till you have to take your rotors off. They are difficult......
