How to remove accent in grille?

I want to remove the accent so I can vinyl it but how do I access it to remove it? Any guides or instructions?

Those metal rivets need to be drilled out. I wouldn’t do that though. Id remove the whole bumper from the car to replace the horn. Won’t need to remove the metal rivets if you do it that way. You need a rivet gun to redo them, the OEM part is crazy expensive for some reason (I redid them with plain rivets for that reason), and they’re a pain to drill out without the rivet spinning and ruining the paint.
Thank you! I will check the bumper again to find points for access. I have tools for most kinds of screws. :)

Take your time and you’ll get it. Take pictures of where you’re removing those plastic pop rivets and such. Trickiest part to removing the front bumper to me is carefully pulling the exterior trim around the wheel well out. Trim removal tool helps. Don’t need to remove all of the wheel well cladding, just enough of it to expose some hidden hardware securing the bumper to the wheel well area. There are some good YouTube videos out there for front bumper removal.

This website has some videos of them removing the whole front end and some pieces in between to get to it.

Hopefully that helps.

Thank you! I will be careful and check for hidden fasteners. My horn has been barely audible for years. I try to tell myself that it is a good thing because I can't offend anyone. But my finger would go up instead. For safety's sake, I need a working horn and better temp control. 😬

Thank you it does! I am motivated but not skilled. Have to read writeups or watch videos repeatedly before trying anything. 🤦
