How-To: LED Interior / Reverse / Licence plate lights

rule of thumb, most things you find on ebay are overpriced crap. People are just trying to rip you off, buy them directly from superbrightleds.com that way if you have any problems they have a warranty on the bulbs and will be more likely to help you.
 
after you guys ordered your lights, how long did it take before you got it in the mail? i ordered mine on the 5th of september and i still havn't received it. i checked the status on usps.com but it still hasn't been updated since the 5th. what do i do and who do i contact?
 
I'm pretty late to the party but I just ordered everything to do this (except for reverse lights and turn signals).

Can't wait!

me too. hoping that since most people say their packages shipped from St. Louis and since I can see St Louis from here, I'll have them shortly.
 
Just wondering ... does anyone want me to update the OP with anything, I've noticed you guys been talking about turn signals and stuff. Let me know :) I'm willing to edit the post and if you got a pic to go along with it, that'll be tha bomb

Ordered Saturday night, email saying they shipped on Monday, arrived in my mailbox tuesday -- a benefit of living close!

Install was pretty painless. Took great care with the map lights...approached from the side and was able to release the clip. Put tape over the hole under the cargo light to avoid the other noted problems. Waiting for dark to get the full effect!
 
Nice. I probably won't get my lights until Thursday or so. The map light is the only part I'm worried about.

I used a very small flat head screw driver and gently worked it from the side...I could feel the clip holding holding it in place and then it was pretty easy.

I just checked them out in my pitch black garage...i'm very pleased with how they all turned out. If only there was a way to clear the dome lens out a little to match the map lights....

I hate the matted lens on the dome. It makes me angry.
 
its only the hood that fits come on people. oww i need to get some night pics of mine to show how the extra bright did
