polyurathane won't wear out like soft rubber mazda uses. it should last the life if your car if you grease it every year.

Urethane fixed my motor mounts from breaking.evolv said:Mazda went through 5 sets of bushings trying to figure out how to prevent them from tearing apart. If polyurathane was the answer I'm sure they would have used them.
I like nipples (thumb) but seriously that will be better.evolv said:I know from my stock bushings that when I grease them the clunk/squeek disappears. In a few weeks it returns. If you are going to order new bushings, get the ones from Energy Suspension that you can grease... ala grease nipple.
Glad to see supporters. Feel free to give feedback on how it works out for you.daedalus said:doing it next week.... thanks for the write up!
These are stiffer than stock just like motor mounts made out of Urethane.CHICO2003 said:for those still under warranty... why not just bring it in to the dealer?

I though all how to's were a set of instructions on how to do something that you had already done? And if the bushings brake or not then that's a different story I personally have not read on this forum about a broken Urethane bushing on niether on motor mounts nor sway bars as a matter of fact noone has posted on this thread "I've been running this setup for xxK miles" so there's a good chance that not a lot of people have done it. But I guess you're very confident on Mazda's rubber bushings so please enjoy them.evolv said:A VISA... no wait thats for a different country... hummm not sure, is this truly a how-to..... I think this is more of a "this is what I did.. hope it works" thread...
