HOW TO INSTALL AUTOMETER SHIFT LIGHT w/o Tach?

Hi! i'm a new member and i bought a Ford Lynx RS 2.0 here in the phils. (Ford Tierra in Taiwan), which is a descendant of the proteges. i don't know how to post my cars images so that u guys can see the resemblance. both have the same interior and engine except for the exterior. just want to ask how to install autometer shift light w/o tach. i can't locate the rpm sensor where i should tap the the wire of my shift light. hope u can help me with this. thanks guys!
