so i got my ddm tuning hids, and how the F*ck do i hook these up? theres like 2 post things, but our headlights use 3?

funny stuff.

HIDs only need a power and ground, thus only two wires. did you get a hi-lo kit, or a single beam only? did you get an H4 kit?

The 3rd prong is for your hi-beam. Unless you wasted your $$ on the hi/lo bulb then it will only have 2 prongs. Just orient the plug the same way as it was before and it will be fine. It is pretty obvious how it lines up.

yea i have the same problem i got a hi/lo beam hit and it didnt come with a relay then i got the relay but have no idea how to hook it up

Have you done much wiring b4? If not you should have just gotten a HID wiring harness. they cost like $15 and save you a lot of time. Especially if you don't know jack about wiring.

12000k 55W H4 single beam HID
YUCK. 55w = tons of glare, 12000K = all blueness, and very little usable light.

essentially its the same as a standard kit, with an extra circuit from the factory high beam connected to a solenoid. That solenoid moves the HID bulb refocusing it as a high beam.

Some just have an additional filament that gets power.

pairing 30 year old halogen technology with a HID bulb is just dumb. You're basically guaranteed to blow the halogen high beam before the HID gives out.. so... why bother?

I have a bi-xenon kit, and found the Hi useless enough that I didn't rewire it when I changed bulbs. I definitely don't miss it horribly or anything.

my 55W 12000k's are not even blue lol.....and what glare?

they are probably less blue than a 6000k 35W, no lie. ill snap a pic tonight.

But heres a daytime pic so you can see the color..
