how to figure out what type of keyless i have.....

i just bought a 2007 mazda 3 i sport, i was given one remote, 2 keys and when i looked up the remote for my new car, it shows a different looking remote, how would i locate the reciever of what would be a factory keyless system, and or locate the aftermarket.

it doesnt seem to be an alarm, just a keyless. also, i dont have a power lock switch but all locks appear to be power controlled. does that point to after market?

i looked at the "why i should buy a third key" thread and also looked into the remotes portion of that extension of the thread.

okay so i found that it is an audiovox remote transmitter that works with several different models of "alarms" but i have no clue where the receiver is installed. any suggestions?

I'm not help with the alarm stuff as I've never had a car with one installed. That is the key fob that I have with my 2008 MS3 though.

it seems like its not an alarm tho, it just locks and unlocks the car. no noise when locking/unlocking really strange to me lol

I cant see the ebay link but it seems to be aftermarket. Usually if you dont have power locks, you dont get a keyless entry system. Try putting up another pic of your remote.
