How to disconnect passenger sun visor wiring?

Somehow the passenger sun visor wont stay up. I got a replacement, but having one heck of a time trying to disconnect the wiring that powers the mirror lights. Anyone know if you are supposed to pinch/squeeze it a certain way or do i need some pliers ro needle nose to just grip & rip.
