how do i take the shifter knob off? i wanted to replace it with a after market one my buddy sold me from his civic.. its universal. do i need to pop off the little chrome piece and un -screw something? i thought maybe i could just un-screw it but it just spins. as you can tell i dont have much exp. working with cars. if its a manual then you just unscrew it. auto i have no idea.
