I'm picking up my 3 5-door w/6 disc today. I'm already starting to think about audio upgrades. In my previous car (Honda Civic) I had a 12" Infinity Perfect Sub and Kenwood Amp. I removed those two items and might consider putting them in the 3.
First and foremost, I've decided NOT to replace the factory stereo. I like the way it's integrated with the car, and aftermarket stereos just don't appeal to me anymore (too flashy).
What I'm considering is adding the Sub and amp, perhaps replacing the factory speakers.
Most important is getting some sort of line-in for my iPod. I understand there are adapters available that will allow this through some modular connector on the factory system.
Any suggestions/ideas?
