Hey.

22 years old, Sport20 familia 4wd (protege5). NZ$81 per month. (US$60 per month) Which is expensive for NZ!
%65 discount for no claims in 6/7 years.

In New Zealand its almost impossible to get vehicle insurance if you've been fined for either dangerous driving or drunk driving.

^^How's your driving record???

I'm 20, I have 2 speed violations, & still pay 1900(annually for 2 cars).

Wow that is pretty good. For 2 tickets and such.

I'm 17 with a clean driving record of course and I only pay 101 a month.(rofl2)

wtf? a 17 yr old in the same region as me paying $30/month less...what company do you use? do you have full coverage? are you still under your parents insurance?

Yes I have full coverage with low deductions (250/500 w/oem parts). I have nationwide and am on my parents insurance. I think the biggest reason the insurance is so cheap is because my parents have been with them for 18 years.

state farm, 07 MS3GT and an 07 Honda Civic Si 203/month both with incredibly high coverages and a $250 deductable

I think NZ is the only country left in the world that hasn't made insurance compulsory

25/50/100 $1k ded $2004/year (about $167/mo?) combined for my girlfriend and I, we're both 24 and live separately. I think it's a little higher because a few people that live with her have had a few accidents in the past 3 years. Even though they can't drive stick, it still jacks up our insurance (which, I think driving stick should be like driving a motorcycle... there's a designation on your drivers license for it, and you dont have to insure people in your house who cant legally drive it!). Neither of us have ever had any accidents or tickets though. Funny thing is they wanted to raise our rates because someone broke into her old car and stole her CD's 2 years ago. What a bunch of bull$hit. I'm hoping it will go down when we move out and add my eclipse, truck, and our house to the policy (multiple policy and vehicle discounts are sweet...).

Just as a comparison though, from the same company, I pay $330 a YEAR for insurance on my turbo eclipse and 1/2 ton ram together.

Anybody else on here have an insurance company tell you a Mazdaspeed3 doesnt exist when you called for a quote? I had two places tell me that. One was GEICO! You'd think with how huge they are they would already have a few dozen insured (maybe they do, as regular 3's instead of MS3's...not knowing). The only online quote site that had it listed was progessive...

When I talked to GEICO, they had no listing for it. The operator had me give her the VIN, she plugged it in and got an instant quote for it. I think it was $750/6mo. I haven't gotten my MS3 yet, so I'm not sure. I'm 24, live in Orlando, FL. Coverage was for $100k liability, $500 deductible. I had an accident 4 years about which affected that quote.

I believe they don't consider it a separate model, so that helps keep the cost down for the consumer.

24 y/o Male and 21y/o female. 2006 Mazda 6i and 2007 MS3. 50/100k full coverage on both. Clean driving records. 500/1000 deductable. 235/month. Was high risk due to not having insurance here in the states before, should go down in August! :P

About 33, married, 300k/500k 500 deds....and it's $866 a year for the MS3 only. I have 4 other vehicles so that's a factor. I also have a few performance awards from the local constables, also a factor. :(

Just a heads up for any homeowners that don't already do so, you can get your homeowners insurance company to insure your cars and they'll usually give really good deals because you home is already insured through them. My wife got a quote from progressive (her insurance company at the time) on her new 3 we just got and they said like $115 a month for full coverage with just her insured on it (I have had alot of speeding tickets). We decided to go through our homeowners insurance and now it $115 for both of our cars with both of us insured on each car.

$230/month (Canadian, eh?)

$300 detectable on comprehensive, $500 on collision.

23 year old Male, 5 years with same insurance company (This is a ridiculously good rate for Ontario).

I was just quoted 61/month with 500 deductable from State Farm with multi-car/multi-line/marriage discount. Wife and myself haven't had a ticket for probably 8 years, although have made a claim.

Ive got everything GEICO offers just about i guess....i know its full coverage cuz i have a loan for my car...24/m/single ....so with that being said you ready?.....i pay a wopping 296.00 per month for a n/a 3 hatch....i have a couple tickets and a dui under my belt!!!! IT SUCKS!

I pay about $70 a month or $420 every six months with a clean record through american family but i do get a muliple plan discount with renters insurance and thats full coveage 250/500 deduct and im a 26 male.

how do you all not have tickets... teach me.
step 1: take foot off gas
step 2: put foot on brake

haha in all seriousness tho, its about knowing when you can speed and doing it responsibly. My dad taught me to drive looking as far as you can ahead of you. Keep your eye out for people braking suddenly up ahead or for that random break in the tree-lined median where johnny law might be hiding. The best way not to get a ticket is to not speed, but for those of us that find that impossible, just try and be smart about it
