Well I hate to even be thinking about this but I think I might have to sell my MS3. I'm in sales and as you all know the economy isn't the best right now. So my question is what do you guys think I should be able to get for my car. Its an 08.5 Black Mica Sport with 7800 miles on it the car is like new and only has a few rock chips on the hood.

I'd say anywhere from $20,000 - $22,000. Depends on area of country, options, cleanliness, and getting that right buyer.

Depends how desperate he is. That is lowball. I do not think this car loses $5000 in less than 6 months use......unless it was a rental or leased.

It's only worth as much as someone will pay for it. Dealers are hurting too -- they need to move their product and are making some pretty good deals. If someone can pick up a new one Sport for around 20.5K, unfortunately they wont buy his for 20K. I think 18K is more realistic...which sucks.

+1. All rules for depreciation are thrown out the window when the economy is at its shittiest in decades.

Yep. I got my speed 6 for 24K brand new. That was a great deal but im just giving a comparison. I would agree that you would be looking at around 18-20K.

Being on an island certainly limits your pool of buyers.

I only owe $18500 and paid $21000 for it so i would be ok with $19000 I guess. I'm not going to loss a ton on it though I'll just keep it if I have to. i love the car and really don't want to sell it. i could just used the money.

You may be in the ball park... According to Kelly, a 3 is worth a bit less than $18K. They don't show a Speed.
