unfortumately i live in hollywood CA where some of the highest insurance rates in the country so i pay with clean record for over 6 years, about 280 a month with 500 deductible.......

yeah the MSP is a higher premium vehicle - 42 married male, clean record and preferred status with State Farm, $684/6 months compared to a MiniCooperS, VW GLI, etc. at $550ish.

$88.00 a month through Country Companies. Also I'm 29 so that could be a big factor in why my insurance is low.

$90 / mo., $500 ded, all minimums, no optional bulls*** except rental reimbursement. 26 years old with clean record for over 4 years. Using Progressive Auto Insurance.

just switched to Erie Insurance:
$150/month for 8 (or 9?) months (on a 1 year policy)
Driving record has been clean for about 5 years.
It's about $1450 all total for the year (that's w/ deposit, yada yada)
Includes $12K in renter's insurance, $50K/$100K protection, $500 Collision, $250 Comprehensive deductibles

Previously w/ GEICO:
298/month for 4 months (on a 6 month policy)
Was running me around $1000/6 month policy
Included no renter's insurance, $15K/$30K protection, $500 Collision, $250 Comprehensive deductibles
They were raping my ass!

EDIT: Oh yeah....I'm 28 married male (although I lost my license in NJ back when I was 19)...my driving record has improved since then! :D

hmm...and who did you switch too? That's uber cheap!

$75/Mo. with $500 Deductible, Full Coverage including car rental in case of accident. I am 37 with clean record and no accidents.

Don't forget that insurance companies can take your credit score now into account. I was reading an article about it. The article stated that your rates with a bad credit score could go as high as 200% over an identical person with a good credit score. I know Texas is trying to pass a law prohibiting insurance companies from do this, but I will have to wait and see it the law will pass...

$4600 a year

22 year old male, 1 ticket, 1 accident. First ticket in NJ is a freebie..by law it cannot increase your premium. So the only thing against me is the one accident 2 1/2 years ago.

Doesn't help that my town has the 2nd highest premiums in the state...and NJ has the highest in the country....

Yeah I from jersey and lost my license 2 years ago for doing a 100 in my crap 91 civic...But that counts the same as 2 point tix out of state...go figure so I pay 5800 or about 480 a month. Good thing I have some moneys saved up. And next year my record will be clean and I am gonna switch insurers...Damn NJ Ins rates
