Q quattroforlife Member Feb 16, 2009 #1 Im going to install: BOV CAI 3" Downpipe 3" Exhaust When they are on should I be around 300hp?
B bova80 Member : 2007 Mazdaspeed6 GT Feb 16, 2009 #4 no way will you be at 300hp with those mods, maybe 300 to the crank.
C coyfish Member Feb 16, 2009 #5 ya lol if you dyno at 230 whp stock you will prob be around 255ish with those mods. The only way to break 300 whp in this car safely is to upgrade your turbo. With full bolt ons and a tune you could probably be around 280ish.

B bova80 Member : 2007 Mazdaspeed6 GT Feb 16, 2009 #6 no there are some who are at or above 300whp with full bolt ons and a tune.
F Flightmedic Member : 2006 Mazdaspeed6 GT Feb 16, 2009 #7 yeah the tune is an important part of the equation to break the 300 mark
C coyfish Member Feb 16, 2009 #8 what type of tune is this? Running stock psi ?? I know you can jack up the boost but thats not "safe" on the stock turbo.

F Flightmedic Member : 2006 Mazdaspeed6 GT Feb 16, 2009 #9 even an ots map from cobb raises boost on stock turbos
C coyfish Member Feb 16, 2009 #10 Thats news to me . . . so your holding over 18 psi with the cobb ap ??? Sounds like trouble. With my TMIC im already spiking 20 / 21 and holding 19
