How much did you pay for your Mazda2?

I've been considering the same move ('07 MS3 sport to '11 '2) and am glad to hear I'm not the only one who's had such thoughts.

I went from an 05 MZ3 to a 11 MZ2 but then again, that's not as drastic as an MS3 to a MZ2 I guess, lol. I'm just glad more folks are buying the Mazda2 so I'm not the only one in the US lurking around here :)

I was using my 96 BMW 318ti for my DD but wanted to keep the miles off (100mi daily) so I "added" the 2 Touring. Need to get a car that uses regular gas too. Last Mazda was an 03 Protege5 which was a great car too. Next step is to order some 14" Continental snow tires for this Winter.

so...I'm still waiting for my Touring...dealer said he could get one in a few days but it seems like the other dealers in the SE PA region don't want to give theirs up for a trade.
Looks like I'm getting one from the Pittsburgh area with a low VIN number = lot demo?? ...hope not .. (shady)

UPDATE: Picked up the car tonight, mileage was no problem, only the trip from PGH plus a few miles.
Car best feature is the nimble handling....this is going to be a huge hit on the Autocross courses. I'll be trying it out next month for the last SCCA event of the season.

We recently picked up a 2011 Mazda2 5mt touring in crystal white pearl mica. We added the Home Link mirror and the factory bike rack with two carriers. I don't remember the exact figures, but our bill was around $18500 with the accessories and sales tax factored in. We traded our 2004 Mazda 6s with 83000 miles and ended up financing around $12500. Our local dealers also had black, red, and green. We found a white one about 150 miles away and had it transfered.

This car really reminds me of the M1 and M2 Miatas, both in terms of handling and gearbox. Sure it's a spongy ride, but some larger wheels and stiffer suspension could solve that. Plain simple and fun. I'm trying to talk the wife in to letting me autox it. :)

I just picked up a 2 Sport (MT) on Monday for about $15,500 out the door. They offered me $5800 on trade for my MKV GTI (137K miles) so I financed under $10K.

Hmm looks like were getting ***** here in canada... our base model mazda 2gx MSRP is $13995 + 1395 delivery and to give it the same specs as your 2sport A/C is an option for an additional $1200... thats about $1000 more then you guys are paying for your 2sports and in some cases more then what you guys are paying for your 2tourings which to make our canadian model equivalent is a $895 convinience package option... looks to me like im gonna either be haggling the s*** outta my local stealership in the spring when ill have the money for a new car or road trip to the usa to buy one... i dont understand how they can be so much more expensive here? $1400 freight in canada when ALASKA is only $850?? the dollar is pretty much at par right now.. shame on you mazda

I got out the door for $19k CDN for my Yozora. Tack on taxes and freight etc and my finance was for $24k.

Yeah, the Destination charge for Florida was $795.00 which I thought was quite ridiculous myself but $1,400.00? Screw that.

I paid just under 14,000 for my sport 5spd, that did not include the doc fee or sales tax.

I looked at my paper work from the dealership. I paid 13,750 for the car, that included destination. I was very happy with the price as the first dealer I visited said they could only come down 200 dollars from sticker. the 13,750 was the first offer from the second dealer. I have not seen another Mazda 2 on the road so maybe the dealer needed to sell one. I noticed the first dealer I visited still has the red five speed i looked at sitting on their lot.

I was around $16k OTD for a MT Touring. Didn't see a whole lot of great deals out there on it so I jumped on the first good one I saw. Even got them to find the one I wanted from another dealership. Overall I'm pretty happy with the price (even if they did add on a bunch of BS fees, etc).

That's funny that you mentioned that -- I was looking at a red MT and wanted to put a deposit down, but they said it wouldn't be necessary, then the next day I found out it had been sold. Apparently it had been sitting around for a few months with little interest so he didn't think it would go. I'm happy though because I ended up getting a green one instead and I like it a lot better!

A 1.5 Sport, that is the top of the line in Norway, costs about 220000NOK.
That is rather a lot.... Cars is more expensive in Norway than in Sweden...
Your lucky!

oohh.. Thats not cheap. It would be cheaper for us to import a 2 from the US now a days :)
I payed 165000SEK for mine, and 220000 NOK is even more then my mother payed for her 2010 Mazda Miata 20th anniversary.
