How much did you pay for your car?

Heated leather seats?

sorry to hear about the story. you must have been very frustrated dealing with the rude sale guy. hope you'll get your deposit back soon. :)

do you know if they will have any new features for the 2005 model? my friend didn't get the leather seat for his 2004 model because they don't have the option of heated leather seats. wonder if it will available now...

too bad i'm living in Calgary, otherwise, i would go the the Leduc dealership as well. hard to find nice salepeople. (x_x)

I was told there's no difference between the 04's and 05's........The only difference is a couple hundred dollars. (dunno)

I got the deposit back, actually the manager at the Leduc dealership got it back for us. They own the one in S.P so they just phoned and told them to send them my deposit. Good thing too, cuz there's no way I'm giving that crappy dealership any business of mine. LMAO......They tried to feed me some B.S that they did a lot of work to find me a car and that they dont do it for free blah blah blah blah blah......Oh well!

Leduc's not that far from calgary!! Good salespeople might be worth the trip!

firedancein4life, you've got a great car!!! love the blue and the red Mazda3 Sport!!! :) does the $22,880 include freight & GST?

LilMissGS3, i'm in the same boat. can't make up my mind about getting a 2004 Mazda3 or wait for the 2005 one. :P

btw, anyone know about the price for calgary? which dealership is better? please help!!! thanks a bunch! (^_^)!

I am not too sure what you mean by freight. I just ordered it with everything I wanted. I live in CA, USA and it took 3.5 months since they had to build it in Japan, put it on a boat and get it over to me. GST? I'm not sure what you mean there.

I guess...I got a great deal. That was the sticker price without tax. Of course you got all that license registration stuff. So in all. I ended up putting down a little over $25000 for EVERYTHING. I am not sure how much different the 2005 is gonna be...all I know is that these cars are hot. So get your hands on one of them!

I think mine came to $20,457 inlcuding tag, tag and title. 2004 3 hatch, leather, all packages except for appearance 1 and nav.

You did give them your business. The same guy owns both dealerships.

Ok, I didnt think I'd have to spell it out but sure;

I refuse to give the salesman the commission from my car.

Better?

For all you know they gave the commision or half of it to the original salesman.

Where to buy in Calgary

We shopped all three Calgary dealerships and have extensive history with Sunridge prior to this purchase. Hands down the best in Calgary is Kramer Mazda and the Salesman to deal with is Michael Lawrence (259-0500).

We would have purchased at Sunridge becuase of a great past relationship there (my wife bought an MX-3 there back in '92) but the new ownership reflects everything that is dirty with the auto sales business.

We were eligible for X-Plan pricing through my work and there was almost no $$ difference between the three dealerships on X-plan so it came down to service. Northill really worked hard to earn our business but didn't have the exact vehicle we wanted on their lot and Sunridge was slimy. Kramer wanted the sale to the point where they actually gave me MY number on a trade in (hadn't planned to trade until they came to my number) to mak ethe deal happen (otherwise I'd planned to sell my X-Terra privately first). The key, however, is doing your reaserch. Know how much you should pay BEFORE going on the lot, know the full and realistic wholesale value of your trade if you're interested in doing that AND agree to the price of the new car BEFORE discussing your trade.

Cheers,
ham
