sorry if its been post b4... cant search it... if anyone can show me link or just tell me the $$... coz i mite be getting one within 2 months that if there r any MSP left... :) cant wait argh...

i got mine at sticker price (msrp). i went back up last week to see a black one cause i got the orange and they had a $2000 premium over the msrp, so i think it just matters what dealership, stick price is out there. good luck, its a bad ass car.

I got mine for msrp. You have to negotiate with them since most dealers have a market adjustment on them. It is possible to get it at msrp if you are serious. They will budge if given pressure.

mine came out to $32,300 CDN taxes and everything in

actually makes me wonder if a wrx would be worth it for another $6 K

Live in South San Fransico... so i got a dealer in burlingame, one in redwood city, two in san jose, and one in vallejo that's within an hour drive.. so i got umm 5 dealers to try to get a decent price...

Vicocola, you should try getting bids from those dealers over the internet. You'll usually get a better price than walking into the showroom. Go to the mazdausa web site and build a car. Then, use the dealer locator page to contact them over the net. If you don't mind the drive, I'd contact Bernie Bishop Mazda in Brookings, OR. Just over the border from CA. These guys are a President's Circle dealer and have top customer ratings. Last October, they were talking msrp, but I don't know where they are now. Good luck!

Oh, I ordered last October 15th and paid msrp two weeks ago to get it. Still grinning every time I drive it!

thx for the help but i signed off a lil bit too early and went on to try my luck... the ppl over there r ripping our ass off... +3000 msrp... and then we tried to get a 24000 price out the door..... at first they gave us like 26000 with 7% Apr, then later we got it somewhere around 24000 with 4% Apr, :wtf: omg... cant believe they can just mark the apr up and down like that just so they can make more money.... but i guess i can say its a fair price... but they just make more money and make this car seems pretty expensive... :bs: btw i have same problem most of u guys have.. leaking water... most likely coolant like u guys said...

Don't go to Almaden Mazda to buy your MSP, they won't do s*** for you as far as lowering the price goes. Try going to Oak Tree Mazda and placing an order for one or hoping that someone bails on their deal and they're stuck with an MSP on their lot. Hell if you actually considered paying $26k, you might as well opted for a 350Z for a little bit more. I honestly feel your best be will be buying one from a dealer not in the immediate bay area. All the local dealers are marking theirs up.

i know wut u mean.. i actually had an email from oak tree dealer... giving me 1500 over msrp 24090 out the door...but my dad did everything too quickly i couldnt have time to say no and go to another dealer... well to be honest.. if u see one of those orange protege next to u.. its kinda hard to say no and try another dealer the next day if u know wut i mean ;)

they are selling here for 20500...I cant get one though...damn wife...i think it would be chaper to have her killed...j/k

Which Dealership quoted you that price? I think that's a good price, because i got ***** on the Admininstration charges at $295Can....I paid almost $400 more than your quotation.

Price

Just under 20,000 and I only owe 26 and change after payoff nothing down rolled the TTL, gap insurance, and the 75000 mile warranty. Most loans were hovering from 0.0% on a special dealer stock incentive for the PR5 to up to 7% for no incentive cars. I got mine for 5.9% .
Heck the rates are so low right now it is really a good time to buy. Lost 3 points off my house note so I actually got the car without causing my bills to rise at all.
SWEET

(2thumbs)

I also got a dealer recommendation from mazda friends and I let the dealer know why I was calling and who sent me. That may have played a role in my treatment.

MSpeed,

Great price you got. Please say you live in Toronto. If so, which dealer?

Guelph dealer actually, the only one in town
but thats the standard price though, how much were u told?

I've got the dealers down to $20000 but I'm working them down to $19500 when my 2003.5 comes in. Thanks to SpicyMSP ;)
