I believe we have the lowest prices right now........and i cant get over how high its going. Is it ever going to stop? wtf

about 2.40 for 89

a little tid bit about this, i heard this mornign though that the average faimly or what not with 2 vehicles is going to spend a lil under 3k extra this year for gas than in 03

2.57 for 87 in Arcadia Cali.

Oh by the way, I was in a gas station in Whittier, CA 2 weeks ago (Arco station), and used my debit card for gas. When I got the bill, it was 50.00 bucks. I use 87 and have a p5, so how the heck can I fill a 50.00 bill. I called the gas station, and he said that I might have used someone else's pump number, but heck no freaking way. I told him that even if gas is 3.0, I only have a 13 gallon tank, so can't be more than 40 bucks...man...that sucks...

$2.43 this morning, yesterday it was only $2.32. LAst week it was $2.27.

I think I'm gonna start looking into propane conversion or get a motorcycle.

s***, I'm only 3 miles from work. I may start driving my god damn riding mower. Don't laugh, I figure if I swap the rear pulley out for a smaller one and disable the governor, that baby will ******' fly!

(And that, my friends, is what you call Redneck Rice (ricer) )

2.79 for 91 at Chevron .... when i filled up last week... it's probably higher now.

3 Miles? Ride a friggin bike or jog. That's what I did when I lived that close. I have a 120 mile round trip right now. I'm a couple minutes from PA, and work in DC. PA was pretty cheap for gas a few weeks ago- I was in Birdsboro and I could find gas for 2.13! I'll be back up in that area sunday too...

Sigh... 2.69 for 89 regular in a no-brand gas station. And I just saw the news about gas prices is still going to go up for the next several weeks. Crude is now trading more than $66/barrel. I wish I have invested money in it....

On second thought my employer is behind on his paycheck so I'm practically running on my savings. WTF... Man I just wish someone will offer me a job right now.... Depressing...

FYI... unless you have a turbo or advanced timing you should not be putting anything higher than 87 octane in your Protege5. If you do, it is simply the equivalent to burning money. Your gas milage will not improve enough to compensate for the increased price.

With that out of the way, I paid over $30 to fill up yesterday at 2.49/g.
