I'm curious about how long will last the turbo. How many miles you had on the car before having it rebuilt?

Mine has 89 000 miles, and I think it's dying... :(

Depends on how hard you drive it. I let mine sit for about one min maybe two. My turbo has 106K and still good to go. I replaced the oil line orings about a month ago because they were leaking. But the turbo is fine.

im at about 82000k and i let it sit for about 2-3 mins then shut the car off. everything good so far..thanks jus got the car a month ago.

i would say if you feel like the turbo is dying you might need a rebuild but it could also be the stock tune on the car, it can make the car feel gutless. i currantly have this problem but i know my turbo is fine, the tune on my car somtimes makes the car feel faster and stronger when im not in boost.

I would recommend gettin a turbo timer for all those who open up the engine on a regular bases, it helps alot. especially when your running late for work.

what about warm up time guys? i'm still wondering how long i should let it sit when first starting with a cold engine?

you dont really need to sit and let it warm up. start her up and go, just stay out of boost and at low revs until its at temp.

Sorry, off topic, but you don't have to go to much trouble cooling the MSP's turbo down. Our turbo is water cooled and clocked (positioned) in a way that draws coolant through after shutoff. The only time I give it a minute is if I've just driven the car really hard, and never after just regular daily driving. 104k now and so far, so good.
