How is your interior?

Just wondering...what kind of noises do you get in your interior (rattles, squeaks, etc...) and have you done anything to remedy them?

Mine's pretty quiet. I get some clunking now and then from my AWR swaybar, but that's the only ugly noise I can hear from inside the car.
Does your interior rattle? Maybe some Dynamat or something similar would remedy the problem.

my driver side door and seatbelt rattles and fan under the dash on the passanger side is loud, I can here it when I turn on the air or heat....

Mine is fine, you are having trouble?

My interior is fine but there is one noise outside of the car I'm trying to get rid of. It might be a bit off topic but when I close the rear hatch/tailgate, the license plate rattles. The metal license plate hits the plastic license plate holder on the car and the plastic plate frame. The sound is really annoying. Any suggestions?

There is actually a fix for this somewhere on the forums if you search, but one easy suggestion is to close the gate with your hand on the plate. Not sure who suggested this, but it works for me.

The pocket in the driver's door rattles with loud bass from the speaker. I've been too lazy to fix it. My sunroof now has a nice vibration/rattle when I hit bumps, only when it is open. I get a lot of creaks and things now when the chassis is flexed. It comes with age.

I have 2 annoying rattles at the moment. One is coming from the passenger side dash. Friend of mine said it sounds like its coming from inside the vent. She put pressure on it and it went away. Seems to really only get loud when its cold out.
The other is coming from the hatch panel. It took me forever to figure out where its coming from, but evidently the panel comes loose when i slam the hatch shut. I have to get in the back and put pressure on the panel, right where it meets the window and it solves the problem...until i have to close the hatch or go over one of those massive Jersey potholes !

Thankfully i listen to loud music and tend to ignore them.

Get some double-faced 3M tape at your Home Depot or Lowe's that's about 1/16" thick. Cut two strips about two inches long or multiples of the two that will take up the space between the tag and the plastic holder.

Center them on the ends of the plate and remount the tag, pressing down on the outside edges after you put the bolts through the license plates.

No more noise. (burnout)

i used the double sided sticky-tape for the license platew, andweatherstripping for the spoiler. i have the same creak from the passengers side of the dash as mentioned earlier, but it only seemed to creak when it is ereally cold outside

same thing but in a different place for me its my factor spoiler... u know the one on the roof that rattles really bad with my bass... and when im on thrid gear but dash board rattle really badly i went to get it checked but the dealership said naw there's nothing wrong... and surprisingly it wasnt as bad when the guy drove it but its loud when i drive it! (huh) doesnt make much sense to me! thats the major one for me!

-Passenger left bottom kick plate used to rattle around. Took some of that single sided weatherstripping (thin) and did it up where it touches everything
-Driver seatbelt fastener (thing on right side where you put belt into) used to creak on twisties. WD-40 a while ago
-Driver side window used to rattle just a tiny bit. Would go away when put my head against the window - of course not a solution, but i never really did anything about it
-rattle somewhere around driver's side a pillar and dash, don't know exactly where, but it's that area. haven't done anything about it yet

Funny, some rattles seemed to go away and now I have new ones - or maybe I just blocked them from my mind. :D

Mine rattles in a few spots, I think one is on my side of the dash, just under the gauges, and i have one in the passenger door. Both of them go away w/ pressure so I think some weatherstripping will take care of them. My seat also seems to squeak a little bit. My car is new (5000 miles) but i think most of the problem is that it is really cold here, so the plastic shrinks a little and is harder than normal.

the arm rests where the power window buttons are squeak when bumped, usually when im adjusting in the seat my leg bumps it...it feels cheap

i dont keep coins in the coin holder.............i use the ash tray
