Houston area shops for custom intercooler piping?

Think my next big thing will be a Spearco front mount. Found some on ebay for $300. Seems like a good deal to me I guess. Can anybody recomend any local shops here in the Houston area to get the two sections of piping made at?

Where are the first two located at? And whats a good estimate for the total price if I just bring in an intercooler and get them to put it in and make the two sections of pipes? $200-$300?

What would be the drawbacks to getting mild steel as apposed to aluminum? And I don't need them powdercoated...not going to enter any shows or anything, just want them to work right.

well there tuner...if you powerdercoat or thermal coat...it will not get hot as fast as a pipe with out being coated. hence colder air and.......more power.

aluminum heats quicker. wheres that gay ass machinist when you need him....Reagen where are you??

i was goin to let tom at lightspeed do my piping and i was going to go with mild steel just cause it was cheaper....heh later you can powdercoat.
ss piping is expensive and will cost you more....intercooler and piping was going to run me like 900 bucks with ms and with ss was goin to like 1300 bucks.

I guess subtract around 500 or so (figure thats how much they would charge for the intercooler) and you have an estimate on how much they would do my mild steel pipes if i bring the intercooler in myself. Sure powdercoating or whatever would be nice eventually...its just right now I don't have all the money in the world to spend, and I just want something that funtions.

ask him bud..he'll probably say swing but and ask where you want the pipes runned through.
check him and autologic(these guys are pricey but theyre work is fantastic)
