I was reading a honda magazine, and it was comparing cars between speed3, s2k, and civic SI. It says our cars has 202 WHP. Is that tru?
Question answered.
The Civic si puts down 180whp
The S2000 puts down about 190-200whp
The Mazdaspeed3 puts down 230-245whp plus about twice the ******* torque as those hondas
a general guidline is around 20-30% crank hp that is actually going to the wheels after all the loss in whatever components you're going through to get to the rubber. so if you do 30% take 263 x .7 and get 184hp. if you want 20% 263 x .8 is 210. either way im sure it's not 230-245 like 15min5k said.
besides, a dyno room never changes, where you're actually driving does, so exact numbers don't really count for anything.
there... fixed it for ya...(band)

Even though I don't own an MS3 I have personally seen one put down 250 whp and 270 wtq - on two different occasions. Two different cars, two different dynos. I'd say that's pretty much the standard. But again, why do we care what other car owners think?
no worries bro! (drive)sorry man
I dynoed 237 to the wheels on my car. Seems to be consistent with most stock MS3s. Don't take any information from a Honda magazine. Christ, if everyone starts reading Honda magazines, then soon we'll all be rolling around on red Rotas with custom valve covers and shocker stickers everywhere.
