Hope for us Auto Guys yet...

how did you replace the P5 condensor with the MSP condensor? ppl are telling me that the lines won't reach and that I need to do something about it.

The ac line on the passenger side(its the one from compressor to condensor) thats bolts up with no problem. As I stated earlier, you need the msp #1cold pipe(its the a/c line from condensor to reciever dryer). Once you buy that ac line, all will bolt up with no problems.

I was wondering if you could set up something so that the waste gate opened while you were shifting. I would think it would be easier to set up then the throttle control ideas floating around, maybe uses the shift signal to both tell the tranny to shift and open the waste gate. It would probably be more expensive than upgrading the tranny to take the boost... but still it seems like a cool idea to me.

that would actully be a pretty good idea me thinks. when it tells the tranny to shift, a device intercepts that signal and opens the Gate/BOV for a split second.
might be worth splicing some wires and taking some measurements for.

I need to get a pic of the "new" tranny because for some reason I don't remeber the tranny housing looking like it did. But who knows.

ya i dont know how hard that would be to do (obviously too difficult for me) but i would think it would be relatively cheap if someone knew how...

found this it should work for us, I guess basicly it changes the signal to the epc solenoid to increase pressure to firm shifts, I ordered it and will keep u guys updated if it will work for the mazdas.

The focus trans does have different case but all internals and gears are the same between then, lentech probally has'nt sold enough mazdas to keep cases around, most times you can ship them your trans and they can do a rebuild-turnaround in a few days.

so how did this turn out?

Installed today and it works great, I cant belive haw fast it shifts I had it floored and kept it that way threw all four gears holdn 5psi it shifts way faster than you thought possible. I have converter ,new clutches, @ band also, this helps take advantage of that. modded NA cars would benefit from this too by just shifting way faster than stick shifters could dream.
Did a post about it here http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123722634
Im hoping someone else will buy one too and help get the word out, I will be putting miles on mine in the next few months Ill keep the thread updated. but so far so good.

yes i do, and that is why i'm picking it up, gotta see if this adds anything to what the lentech provides, or if this is a good option to the upgraded valve body ($$$$)

i updated the first post of who are auto and if theyre turbo or na.... either pm me or reply here and tell me what youre running so that people can ask the right people if they have questions on the matter...

Im auto NA and krayzieFox is turbo auto if you wanna add those to the list

Yep.. MSP T25 turbo with BEGi RRPFP and Flyin Miata voltage clamp is what I've got. Ask away if you have ANY questions about the setup.

the wastgate is opened by pressure in the turbo itself so when the psi get to high it makes a fun sound and lets all the are rush out
