So I can get this done for free to my car.....

it wouldnt be carbon fiber, I would just paint the inside of the stock hood and the grille black. I just dont want to do it if it will look bad on my car! If someone who is good at photoshopping will do that for me FAST, I would appreciate it.....I need it soon cuz it will be happening next week if I do it.

here was my horrible attempt!

Well, if the vehicle were of a much lower production, stock beauty would be fine. For example, a Ferrari or Lamborghini, I personally would probably leave stock looking, why? because they are realitively rare (atleast in my area), which adds to their beauty. But when I see cars three or four times a day that would look exactly like my car (if it were stock), it kind of detracts from it's beauty, making it not ugly but common place.

Some, if not most, people like to feel that they are a bit special or different from everyone else. Some of those people like that to be reflected in their car. So they modify their car in one form or another, to make it a bit (or alot) different from all the other cars on the road of the same make and model.

i agree, this look is cool and it seems to fit ur car well, but its just SO much better with cf
I know I did it on mine because I have a c/f hood and from a distance c/f just looks like a black hood, ie I screwed up my hood and put a replacement on but couldn't get it painted. So to avoid that impression I painted the corners to match the car so atleast from a distance it looks like a custom paint job and not a half-assed repair.

but by the same token my roof is overlayed with c/f and the rear spoiler is c/f with the ends painted to match the car. So from a distance I have a huge black stripe that runs over the top of my car.

if you do it, you should color match it to your rims... graphite/gunmetal on white (2thumbs)

give me 5 minutes, I'll show you how it looks
