honda haters?

i think the word "rice" is played out. Everyone wants their car to look "unique".

And everyone doesnt have the same ideas of things, same look, same feelings. So its your car you do what you want. there will be people that will not like it and they'll be peeps who will love it. But if you like it. so what!

If someone puts all that stickers and stupid on they're car. the main thing their doing is getting attention. and guess what they got your attention. So hey let it be. there will always be a car that you like and there will always be one that u dont like. :D

i just got a 95 del sol for free it needs a new motor, i plan on building a nice ride out of it. im talking to jgenginedynamics about building me a motor for it. its one of the few hondas i like plus you dont see to many of then around here
it will never equal the mp3 in my book but it should be fun

I'VE GOT MADD HONDA LOVE.

even though i bought an evo, at heart i still consider myself a naturally aspirated honda head.

and yeah, there're a lot of jackass civic drivers... more than say, jackass mazda drivers. why? because there're a billion more civic drivers out there, so of course the sheer numbers of said jackass civic drivers will outshine just about every other jackass group in each car community. don't know if that made sense, but i think you got the idea. the jackass/idiot image for civics is more prevalent because there're simply more jackass/idiot civic owners... there're just as many decent honda heads out there, but most of them don't go around begging for attention, screaming in forums about how clean and non-ricey their cars are.

Here's my ricey civic...

Mid 14s on an SOHC? How long do you think it will last?
It lasted a year and 2 months on stock injectors, a 5:1 FMU and no tunning. Finally blew it up racing yet another mustang on the highway, after the motor blew up, it still pulled on 3 cylinders. Neat stuff. The block is in front of my apartment with a beer bottle in the hole in the block. Cost of new D16 bottom end? $100. :D

D15B7's own :p

I had had a JR on my D16z6 (sohc vtec) hitting 12.5 psi. (the trick is to buy the crx sc pully). Also had the water injection. 13.90's w/ slicks. If rolled out untill I blew because I didnt get a fuel pump then.....

I built a full race JR civic.

I was using a 255 lph but my lack of tunning and having the timing all the way advanced caught up with me. I had that liquid injection kit for a while. The friend that I bought it off used water/methanol mix and had good results.
