Honda A**hole hit me!

Something else to consider too is your insurance records...they usually keep detailed records of your car (color, etc.) and sometimes a photo on file. I wouldn't worry about the DMV because I don't think most keep track of color -- just the basics (plate, VIN, body type, etc.)

You don't want to run into potential insurance "fraud" issues later on. Not saying it will happen, but that would suck to have it pop up later for some lame reason.

I agree with the above, get it done in the original color and have them clear coat the s*** outta it. Then buy some nice parts!

theres no fraud just say you painted the car yourself your dont have to doucment anything. Just let them know because for having an oprange car theyll raise your insurance

This is just my opinion, but if you want a car that doesn't look ghetto as hell, you'll have to pull the interior and engine so that everything matches. I know the silver is close to the titanium, but is it close enough that a dealer won't reduce your car's value if/when you decide to trade your car in?

Just got the estimate from the insurance the other day....the quote was $3,454 just from looking at the car. They dont know if the electrical things in the doors are busted, if the shop finds out that they are, the total will exceed $4,000. I had like a cracked windshield and some other dents before the wreck, I also needed an alignment.....and now the insurance is going to fix all of that. Pretty sweet.

man sounds like a sweet deal. when i wrecked mine it cost me over 4 grand for a new hood and front clip and 1 head light and set of grills painted back to mica black. i got corn holed pretty bad. glad the family is ok by the way titanium looks good and the orange will attract tickets. some reason people never forget a bright orange car.

TITANIUM WITH MIRROR TINT

Yeah, it looks sweat, trust me, I have it done. And in regards to colour on registration forms, if it says silver, and it's Titanium, it won't really matter, as it is still a form of silver. And The colour titanium is very clean and classy, yet different enough to be different from the rest. I think the colour will look sweet on your car, and you should go for it. Plus it doesn't attract unwanted attention(cops, vandalism, theives etc)

Edit* I'd post a pics of my car with the tint, cept I don't have any. Sorry, but you get the idea. 30% mirro, is not a complete mirror, it blends very well with the car, and is legal. 20% mirro is a complete mirror, and does not do justice to titanium, plus it's Illegal
