Homelink Mirror Options?

Looking to add one of these to get the compass and homelink features. I know I could pickup a generic kit and wire it in, but would rather find a OEM Mazda one. Perhaps something from a newer 3, the 2013-2014 CX5 or CX7/CX9 would work?

Does anyone know if the car already wired for it?

This can be purchased directly from the dealership as anaccessory. You can also find it on eBay. When you build your mazda on MazdaUSA.com at the end of the process there is a list of accessories/options to add, one of them is a homelink mirror. Search eBay or go to your local dealers website and you'll find it

thanks. im trying not to drop $300 on a mirror from the dealer. i'm ideally looking for a mirror that should be compatible with the new 6.

I see. It is expensive. I'm know that aftermarket kits exist. Really, Bing out Google can help you find several alternatives

I'm a little peeved that the auto-dimming mirror in the GT doesn't have a compass.

What? is there not a compass or direction anywhere on the instrument cluster? perhaps they expect you to just use the navi?

im finding a few options on ebay that might work. apparently the mounting type for mazda is same as nissan, and some honda/acura. if you buy an OEM mirror by a brand, you'll need that wire harness. if you get an aftermarket mirror, you need the aftermarket harness.
